Pillpack a new way to pharmacy

This could be a little controversial, for some really controversial for others I think they’ll just jump on in there. Pillpack basically becomes a replacement for your brick and mortar pharmacy. You can stop having to go to places like CVS and Walgreens, or having to trudge through Walmart. They work with your doctors in the same way that a brick and mortar pharmacy does, they get your prescriptions in and send the pills to you. Just like newspapers, shopping and entertainment media have all gone online, pharmacies are heading that way as well. There are lots of places already doing this, but Pillpack does it slightly differently where you don’t have to physically go anywhere to get your medication. This means if you are on something that doesn’t allow you to drive, or are physically unable to do so they can get your medication straight to you!

One of the things that really sold me is besides your co-pay there is no extra fees for using Pillpack. They dose everything out for you so you don’t have to worry about what you’ve taken. When I say they dose it out to you I mean it. Each dose is individually wrapped and dated. This is awesome for those caring for someone else (who may or may not remember to take their own medication) as well as any of us that forget to do it.

You can use Pillpack for the long or short term. There’s an option for “as needed” medication that will come in a normal prescription pill bottle just like you would get at a regular store. You can sign up the person you’re caring for via the normal sign-up page and there’s an option for being a caregiver with easy instructions.  They also have a 24-7 phone number you can call if you have any questions at any time

Pillpack is revolutionizing the pharmacy industry. I really don’t see any reason anyone would have to go to a regular store anymore especially for more sensitive medication needs. They have all the information on their site. It’s well worth a look

It Works! Actually, it really does!

So my good friends Dale and his wife recently starting working with the people at It Works. The It Works products go far beyond what I thought when he first told me about them. I thought it would be similar to most diet type of things but, actually goes more into the health and beauty side of things. They do have some edible products such as their Greens line which are some great powders you can mix in with water or juice. I, personally, don’t often go for these and would rather do a smoothie or protein shake, however they do taste pretty good and you can feel the energizing effects for a while

It Works also has lotions and things for your skin lots of vitamin packs as well as some supplements. These were things that I know a few women have tried, as well as Dale’s wife (obviously) and so far it’s been great results. A lot of the results can be seen within minutes. The effects lasted a good day or two for each application, which was pretty good considering a little goes a long way with all of them.

The most impressive item to me that they have is the body wrap. It literally looks like a wide, long strand of thing gauze. However, I was truly shocked by the effects. I did try this myself and I just can’t gush enough about it. It firms and lightens any area you put it on. They have different types of applications and the more you use it, truly the longer it lasts. You can get to a point where you could use it a couple of times a month and keep the tightened skin look that it gives you pretty easily. It’s also easy to apply and you don’t have to leave it on long. The thing really is kind of a miracle for your skin. If you doubt anything else on there try the wrap and you’ll be sold!

Check out Dale’s It Works store for more information and how to get some of the cool stuff.  This stuff is really awesome.

Self Defense Course

Hey guys, this is something pretty serious that we’ve all talked about but really needs to have a closer look from time to time. I know that I worry frequently about my wife coming and going from work especially when it’s dark. She works in a large building that has a parking garage. The lighting is never that great, really even during the day, and there are many times when she is out there alone on her way to and from her car. This is something that worries her, as well as me. It certainly isn’t because “she’s a woman” but simply because through her whole life she’s never really been in a physical altercation. Frankly, I think for the most part many of us can go our whole lives without having to worry about that kind of thing…as it should be. However, these days have changed and people are more unpredictable and violent than ever before.

To be honest even I get the heebie jeebies sometimes in these types of situations. As a man, fact of the matter is, I’m far less likely to be accosted by someone than a woman would but it certainly doesn’t mean I’m impervious to it. In fact these days with people on all kinds of drugs from crack to pills you never know what type of person may approach you.  Sad, that today the HOPE is that someone approaching you in the dark is ONLY going to rob you. If you’re a woman there’s double trouble. Maybe that crack head get’s it in his broken mind to do more than just get her money. These are thoughts I just can’t abide by anymore. I found a great DVD that can also be streamed that teaches some basic self defense. It isn’t perfect and it isn’t going to put anyone in a cage fight with Anderson Silva but it just could save your life or someone you love. Check it out Patriot Self Defense
